GLEE fans now have another way to interact with their favorite show. A new application, appropriately titled "Glee" is available through the iTunes store for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad (oh my!)

The NY Times reports on the app, saying "The application was developed by Smule, a Bay Area software start-up known for churning out applications that transform mobile phones into pocket-size musical instruments. Ocarina, the company's most noted creation, lets users play their phone as if it were an ancient flute. More recently, the start-up released an application for the iPad called Magic Piano that turns the screen of the tablet into a colorful, touch-screen piano. The paper adds "The Glee application takes a slightly different approach from past Smule applications: Instead of playing an instrument, players are challenged to recreate the musical numbers from the show "

Smule advertises the following features:

Track List
Download and sing along to your favorite songs from Glee! Three songs - "Somebody to Love", "Rehab" and "You Keep Me Hanging On" come bundled with the app, with many more available! Each week, we'll be adding new songs.
Somebody to Love (included)
Rehab (included)
You Keep Me Hanging On (included)
Imagine
Can't Fight This Feeling
No Air
I'll Stand By You
Lean On Me

You're the Star
You get to sing lead on the actual soundtracks from the show! The lyrics are right there on the screen, and the app can even add some magic to make sure you sound great! And if you're singing alone, the app can create multi-part harmonies using your voice, to make it sound like you have a whole club behind you!

Share Your Voice With the World
Are you ready to be heard? You can record your best efforts, upload them, and share them with your friends over Facebook, MySpace or email. You can even add your voice to the Glee Globe, so that people from around the world can listen to you! And keep at it- if people like what they hear, they'll give you a star and become your Gleek (fan)!

Create Virtual Glee Clubs
Are you ready to form your own Glee club? You can invite your friends to sing with you. Just send them a message, and if they own the app, they can record their own voice on the song. The app will combine the voices behind the scenes, and you've got a club song!

Be Part of the Glee Globe
Adding your voice to someone else's song is just as easy. Check out songs created by your friends, your Glee club members, or just grab songs you like from the Glee Globe. Once you sing, the Glee app will layer your voices with the others!

The app, priced at $2.99, is available now from the iTunes store. For more information, visit glee.smule.com.
