New Edition of CBS's AMAZING RACE to Premiere 2/19

CBS has announced that the next edition of its hit reality show competition THE AMAZING RACE will premiere on Sunday, February 19, 2012.

THE AMAZING RACE is a multi-Emmy Award-winning reality series hosted by Emmy Award- nominated host, Phil Keoghan, which pits 11 teams, each comprised of two members, against each other on a trek around the world for approximately 25 days. At every destination, each team must compete in a series of challenges, some mental and some physical, and only when the tasks are completed will they learn of their next location. Teams who are the farthest behind will gradually be eliminated as the contest progresses, with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning $1 million.

The network has also announced additional mid-season schedule moves, including new Friday time periods for UNDERCOVER BOSS and A GIFTED MAN.

UNDERCOVER BOSS, which premieres Sunday, Jan. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), relocates to Fridays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on Feb. 17, following three original Sunday broadcasts.

The freshman drama A GIFTED MAN will move to Friday (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) also on Feb. 17. CSI: NY will return to the time period on Friday, March 30 after A GIFTED MAN completes its season run.
