According to Engadget, Netflix has ordered ten episodes of Mixtape, a romantic musical series, originally aimed for Fox, but not picked up following its pilot episode.
Joshua Safran, the show's creator, will continue to be involved, as well as most of the pilot cast. Only the main actor's role will change.
Mixtape is about the love stories linking a group of diverse Los Angeles residents, with music providing the glue.
The show was shopped to streaming companies following not being picked up by Fox. Netflix had also picked up LUCIFER from FOX days earlier.
