Nicholas Stoller, the co-creator of Friends From College, took to Twitter to announce that the Netflix series will not be returning for a third season.
"Friends from College will not be returning for a third season," Stoller said in the Tweet. "Thanks to everyone who watched it. Happy Presidents' Day!"

Netflix also released a statement saying, "We're grateful to creators Nick Stoller and Francesca Delbanco for creating a wise, funny and supremely relatable show. We also want to thank the hard-working crew, and we raise a glass to the amazingly talented cast including Keegan-Michael Key, Fred Savage, Cobie Smulders, Nat Faxon, Annie Parisse, Jae Suh Park and Billy Eichner."
Friends From College premiered July 14, 2017 and was renewed for an eight-episode second season a month after it was released. The series was co-created by Stoller and Francesca Delbanco.
The cast of the ensemble comedy included Keegan-Michael Key, Cobie Smulders, Annie Parisse, Nat Faxon, Fred Savage and Jae Suh Park. The six of them portray as from Harvard who have interwoven and oftentimes complicated relationships with one another as they face down their 40s while living in New York City.
