On Monday, May 15, The Neo-Political Cowgirls will premiere A Dude's Eye View at Guild Hall. Presented in partnership with The Hamptons International Film Festival, the screening will present short films created by boys in grades 9-12 at East Hampton High School as part of a six week workshop.
Process-focused, not product-focused, Dude's Eye View was established to encourage participants to connect to THE JOURNEY of visual storytelling and to learn to channel their beliefs, concerns, and passions into a creative outlet. The result is the creation of each student's own short film.
The screening of A Dude's Eye View is free to the public and will be held at the John Drew Theater at Guild Hall in East Hampton at 6:30 PM. No need to RSVP. Each film is under film minutes in length. There will be a post screening Q&A led by Sawyer Spielberg. The workshop was led by Charlie Westfal.
