From tonight, Jan 16 to Sunday Jan 18, join film and horror fans from across Long Island alongside celebrity guests such as Cleve Hall - Monster Man, Jonathan Tiersten - Sleep Away Camp, Eileen Dietz - The Exorcist, Robert Mukes - House of 1000 Corpses, Elizabeth Shepherd, Rutanya Alda, Lesleh Donaldson, Sharon Lentz, Jim Krut, Tiffany Shepis, Stacey Nelkin and several local independent filmmakers for a scary good time as the NY Horror Show and Macabre Faire Film Festival returns to Long Island at the UPSKY Long Island Hotel, 110 Motor Parkway, Hauppauge, NY 11788

The NY HORROR SHOW is an event brought to you by the creators of the Macabre Faire Film Festival and All Things TwitchTwitch Productions as well as the creators of Eternal Con.

"This will be a unique blend of worlds where we will be mixing in Horror Convention ingredients with Latino Culture horror seasonings," remarked Frank Patz, founder of Eternalcon and parter at NY Horrow Show.

This will certainly be a most eclectic array of those things Macabre/Horror under one roof with over 100 Vendors Spread Out Into 2 Ballrooms, 7 Separate Program Rooms, Live Performances, Celebrity Guests, a Costume Contest, Workshops, Music, A Horror Pageant, Games and Films.

FULL ITINERARY:

The event begins in earnest on Friday night with red carpet arrivals at 7pm for the Macabre Faire Film Festival awards dinner in the Vanderbilt Ballroom, which includes a buffet, a special memorial for 2 people that were part of previous festivals along with a few mentions of others that have passed on from the film world for 2014, followed by a special screening of the short film "The Secret" directed by Andrew Leckonby and a live episode of the "Even Later With Rizzo" comedy show (a parody with undead characters to the Johnny Carson Show). There will also be a performance by music composer Robert Frankenberg called "Symphony of Oblivion" and a DJ spinning until midnight.

On Saturday January 17th, the event begins at 10am with all sorts of vendors in the Main Ball Room and this room is open from 10am until 8pm. There are 4 separate conference rooms which will be converted into screening rooms from 10am until midnight in each. These rooms are the: Diplomat, Amphitheater, Brookhaven, & Huntington. There are 2 separate panel rooms which are the: Regency & Hampton. Considering the Regency is larger than the Hampton the bulk of the panels will take place in that room with smaller panels in the Hampton room along with some games through out the day. Things are scheduled from approx 11:30am until 9:30p or midnight. The last conference room called the Board Room would be used by Dennis Carter for his Movie Memorabilia museum and for the artist with the Haunted Houses for the weekend. Open from 10am till 8pm on Saturday and 10am until 5pm on Sunday. The main stage area in the Vanderbilt Ballroom has programming beginning at 11am straight through till 2am. The Artist Gallery is tentatively being placed in the same room as the main stage.

Some of the interesting programming for Saturday includes:

-Welcoming message from the Event Organizers

-Creating an Alien with spfx artist Vince Collura

-Panel discussion moderated by Adam with several of the male celebrity guests

-Darkside of Opera with Nicole

-Victoria Price presentation

-Horror Pageant

-Women In Black Fashion Show

-Costume Contest

-Horror Pageant part 2 (15mins) to reveal the winners

-Band: Kissing Candice

-Band: Demon Boy

-Band: Terror Voodoo Tribe

-Zombie Pin Up Contest??? Still need to figure out exact time for this

-Karaoke/DJ

Plus these special not to be missed events:

*Bocadillos y Te in the Encore Lounge on Saturday from 12pm to 3pm.

*Comedy Roast for Paul in the Amphitheater at 11pm-11:30pm then that room closes.

*Special Screening of "Army of Darkness" in the Brookhaven room at 12:15am

On Sunday January 18th, the event begins at 10am and runs until 5pm at which time the vendor floor closes and all screening rooms have closed as well. There will be an award ceremony from 5pm to 6pm for the filmmakers that were chosen for the Macabre Faire Film Festival Winter 2015.

Then the award ceremony begins right after the Flesh Junkies

All (4) rooms: The Diplomat, The Huntington, The Amphitheater and the Brookhaven would be filled with movie screenings until about 4pm

The Regency Room will have a full schedule of panels.

The Hampton Room will have some panels and some games.

The Southfork Room will be used as a GREEN ROOM / Headquarters
