This July, NJTV, New Jersey's public television network, celebrates its 2nd anniversary of broadcasting, and commemorates the milestone with a newly-designated local programming block called NJmade, to air Wednesdays at 8pm beginning July 10th (check local listings). Programs designated as NJmade are produced by New Jerseyans or are about Garden State subjects, and will receive special on-air branding.

"NJTV is committed to providing a platform for local shows available nowhere else on-air and online," said NJTV General Manager John Servidio. "While we average over 25 hours of local programming every week, this new prime-time slot and graphic treatment will make it even easier for viewers to find- and enjoy -content that hits home."

NJmade programs will be a rotating assortment of local lifestyle, arts and culture series and documentaries, including favorites from NJTV's existing line-up like Tales of the Jersey Shore, Driving Jersey, NJDocs, Best Places to Live and more.

The inaugural flight of NJmade in prime-time will be episodes of Eat! Drink! Italy! with Vic Rallo. Rallo is a Garden State restaurateur showing off the people, places and cuisine of Italy that inspired his two Monmouth County eateries.

"NJmade is a great way to kick off our second year serving New Jersey," said Servidio. "The shows that fall under this banner spotlight all the aspects that make this state great. And as the only state-wide television network, only NJTV can make local programming like this available to all 21 counties and beyond."
