NJTV, New Jersey's new public television network, will provide the state with unique local coverage of Hurricane Sandy with a series of special live broadcasts, on-air and online bulletins and social media coverage throughout the coming days.
NJTV will kick off its storm coverage on Sunday, October 28th with live updates and a special live edition of NJ Today with Mike Schneider at 6pm ET (check local listings). Sunday's edition of NJ Today, which typically airs weeknights on NJTV, will be dedicated to assessing the storm that is expected to wreak havoc across the Garden State, cause ongoing area evacuations and threaten residential power supplies. NJTV will then broadcast live NJ Today programs at 6pm and 11pm on Monday and Tuesday.In-between newscasts, NJTV will provide on-screen bulletins and live updates each day. Residents can also expect ongoing weather-related news updates on NJTVonline.org and the network's Facebook and Twitter sites.Videos
