Seacoast Repertory Theatre and Let's "B" Reel are proud to announce that their award winning Red Light series will be presenting the cult classic Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddys Revenge, with the star of the film, Mark Patton June 20th, 2015. In addition to the extra special screening, Patton has invited the Let's 'B' Reel audience to partake in the live filming of the documentary "There Is No Jesse".

"We are thrilled to have Mark on board for our screening" says Knate Higgins, special series curator for The Rep. "Tim and I have always wanted to pay homage to the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise after our smashing success with Ari Lehman (The first Jason Vorhees) and our Friday the 13th screening last summer. This particular film was the obvious choice for us, as it's the most audacious and most...ahem...flamboyant of the series."

Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge picks up where the first film left of. In true Horror sequel fashion, Freddy Krueger (scorned supernatural monster who kills teenagers in their dreams) is after a new group of teens, singling out Jesse (Patton) as his next chosen VESSEL for dream induced terror. The film has been noted as the most anticipated sequel in the horror film industry. But, big budgets could not save NOES2 from sloppy directing and shoddy writing. The sequel is best known for its homoerotic sub text, that Patton (who in turn, is gay) was in on, making for some of the most cringe worthy and giggle inducing scenes in horror film franchise history. Patton has made his legacy as the first gay horror film star.

In addition to the usual pre-show and talk back with Bunny Wonderland (Higgins) and Timothy Fife, Audiences are encouraged to fill The Rep for the live filming of the documentary "There is No Jesse" the night of the screening. The piece being filmed documents the life of Mark Patton and his struggle as the first gay horror film star in the 1980s during the height of the HIV/AIDS crisis. Patton chose The Rep and Let's "B" Reel as a featured portion of the documentary to showcase his live appearances and how he still works with fans of the film.

"To have Mark on hand is one thing" say's Timothy Fife, co-director of Let's "B" Reel. "But to be a part of something even larger, and help with the filming of his documentary? It's an honor for us here at Let's "B" Reel and our audiences. We want to see all our fans come out for this one. It's going to be huge..."

Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge is graciously sponsored by Jet Pack comics
