The best hockey players in the world will showcase their talents in primetime this Saturday night, when NBCSN presents live coverage of the 2016 Honda NHL All-Star Skills Competition in Nashville, Tenn., beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group's Kenny Albert will handle play-by-play duties for Saturday night's NHL All-Star Skills Competition, alongside U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame member and analyst Eddie Olczyk, Emmy Award-winning 'Inside-the-Glass' analyst Pierre McGuire, and 500-goal scorer Jeremy Roenick from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

The competition will feature six rounds of skill-based contests, and each of the 44 All-Stars will compete in at least one of the events. Fan-elected captains Jaromir Jagr, Alex Ovechkin, Patrick Kane and John Scott will lead the team selection process for the Eastern and Western Conferences.

  • Honda NHL Breakaway Challenge™ - Players will get to showcase their style and creativity in this event, and will get two attempts to score in any way possible on the goaltender;
  • DraftKings NHL Accuracy Shooting™ - Players will require pinpoint precision and speed to shoot and hit four targets in each corner of the net in the quickest time possible;
  • Gatorade NHL Skills Challenge Relay™ - This timed relay event will feature one timers, passing, puck control, stick-handling and goaltenders shooting the length of the ice to score at the other end;
