NFL ON CBS Scores Highest-Rated NFL Game of Weekend

CBS Sports' Week 3 national doubleheader coverage of THE NFL ON CBS on Sunday, Sept. 21, highlighted by SUPER BOWL XLVIII rematch Denver-Seattle in overtime, was the highest-rated NFL game of the weekend on any network, earning an average household rating/share of 16.9/32, up 16% from last year's 14.6/28 (Indianapolis-San Francisco, Buffalo-N.Y. Jets, Jacksonville-Seattle) in the metered markets.

Yesterday's national game window HH rating/share peaked at 21.0/36 from 7:30-8:00 PM, ET during overtime.

THE NFL ON CBS Week 3 early regional coverage, which included games Houston-N.Y. Giants, Oakland-New England, Baltimore-Cleveland, Indianapolis-Jacksonville, Tennessee-Cincinnati and San Diego-Buffalo earned an average HH rating/share of 11.1/24, up 44% from last year's 7.7/16 (Houston-Baltimore, Cleveland-Minnesota, San Diego-Tennessee) in the metered markets.
