"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and "Late Night with Seth Meyers" have hit five-week highs in adults 18-49 to dominate the late-night ratings week of April 6-10. "Tonight," in fact, generated its most-watched week in seven weeks.
Fallon grew versus the prior week by +10% in adult 18-49 rating (to a 1.06 from a 0.96) and by +6% in total viewers (3.915 million vs. 3.706 million) while Meyers increased week to week by +9% in 18-49 (0.47 vs. 0.43) and +5% in total viewers (1.585 million vs. 1.511 million).
The 1.06 is Fallon's highest rating since the week of March 2-6 (1.10) and the 3.915 million is his biggest overall audience since the week of Feb. 16-20 (4.233 million).
Meyers generated both his best 18-49 rating and biggest overall audience in
THE FIVE weeks since March 2-6 (0.48 in 18-49, 1.614 million viewers overall).
Note that CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" were in rebroadcast last week and "Late Show" excluded its Monday, Thursday and Friday results due to sports delays. CBS's original "Late Late Show with James Corden" excluded Thursday and Friday ratings.
At 12:35 a.m. ET, an encore week of "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.25 rating in 18-49 and 818,000 viewers overall, making it "Last Call's" most-watched week in five weeks (since March 2-6, 836,000).
