NBC's TONIGHT SHOW Delivers 8-Month Tuesday High in Metered-Market Households

Last night, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" averaged a 3.0 rating, 8 share in household results from the 56 markets metered by Nielsen Media Research and a 0.9/5 in 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

The 3.0 in householdsis "Tonight's" highest Tuesday rating since Dec. 15, 2015 (3.4), the night of the "Voice 9" finale.

The 0.9 in 18-49 tops Tuesday's combined 18-49 ratings of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (0.4) and "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" (0.3).

Jimmy Fallon's guests Tuesday night were Dolly Parton (also musical guest) and Donald Glover.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" delivered a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/4 in 18-49 in the local people meters.

The 0.4 ties Kimmel (0.4) and tops Colbert (0.3) in 18-49 in the local people meters, despite "Late Night" starting an hour later than Kimmel or Colbert.

The 1.4 ties Colbert (1.4) in metered-market households.

Seth Meyers' Tuesday guests were Bob Costas and Dylan Lauren.

At 1:35 a.m. ET, a rebroadcast "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in 18-49 in the local people meters

The 0.3 ties CBS's original Colbert and out-rates ABC's first-run "Nightline" (0.2) and CBS's original "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (0.2) in 18-49 in the local people meters, despite "Last Call" starting two hours later than Colbert and an hour later than "Nightline" and Corden.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.0/8; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.8/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households) tied CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 with an encore in the 25 markets with local people meters.
