NBC's TONIGHT, LATE NIGHT Encores Win the Late-Night Ratings Week

Encores of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and "Late Night with Seth Meyers" have dominated their ABC and CBS time-period competition for the ratings week of Aug. 24-28 and generated gains versus both shows' previous rebroadcast weeks.

Versus results for the week of July 6-10, the prior week of "Tonight" and "Late Night" encores, Fallon was up by +8% in adult 18-49 rating (0.77 vs. 0.71) and up +15% in total viewers (3.003 million vs. 2.617 million). Meyers grew by +8% in 18-49 (0.40 vs. 0.37) and +9% in total viewers (1.325 million vs. 1.211 million).

Versus ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," which aired four originals and one rebroadcast last week, the margin of victory for Fallon's encores was +40% in 18-49 rating (with a 0.77 vs. a 0.55), and versus rebroadcasts of "CBS Summer Showcase," Fallon prevailed by +83% (0.77 vs. 0.42).

Facing encores of CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" and ABC's original "Nightline," Meyers' rebroadcasts prevailed in all key categories for its hour versus "Late Late Show" and its half-hour versus "Nightline."
