NBC's TODAY Tops GMA in the Key Demo for 86 Straight Weeks

NBC News' TODAY was the number-one morning show topping ABC's "Good Morning America" yet again in the key demo A25-54 for the week. TODAY has now won 102 of the last 103 weeks in the key demo (86 straight weeks), its best streak in more than four years. TODAY has delivered five straight weeks of total viewer growth resulting in its best total viewer delivery in eight weeks.

Note: Year-to year numbers are compared to last year's Rio Olympics.

TODAY averaged 1.360 million A25-54 viewers, leading GMA by +56,000 (+4%) and CBS THIS MORNING by +511,000 (+60%)

• TODAY has ranked #1 among A25-54 viewers for 86 consecutive weeks (best streak in over four years) and 102 of the last 103 weeks
• TODAY delivered a 1.13 A25-54 rating, +0.05 points ahead of GMA and +0.42 points more than CBS

TODAY averaged 997,000 A18-49 viewers, +89,000 (+10%) more than GMA and +394,000 (+65%) higher than CBS

• Among A18-49 viewers, TODAY has now posted 106 consecutive wins and has been #1 in 112 of the last 114 weeks and 123 of the last 127 weeks
• TODAY's 0.78 A18-49 rating led GMA by +0.07 points and CBS by +0.31 points

TODAY averaged 3.827 million total viewers, leading CBS THIS MORNING by +554,000 (+17%)

• TODAY posted its fifth consecutive week of total viewer growth, hitting its biggest delivery since the week of 6/19/2017 (an eight-week high)
• Week-to-week, TODAY added +26,000 total viewers
