NBC's TODAY Posts Long-Term Ratings Growth

NBC's TODAY continues to deliver significant ratings gains, posting more growth in the key demo than any other morning program. Year over year, TODAY is up 21% in A25-54 compared to GMA's 6%. CBS is flat.

For the week of September 16-20, TODAY posted a 1.7 rating in A25-54 tying with GMA for the second straight week. This was TODAY's best viewer delivery in the demo since the week of May 6, 2013. Over the past six weeks, TODAY has narrowed the demo gap with GMA by 76% (172k viewers).

In total viewers, TODAY has grown for six straight weeks posting its best delivery since the week of May 20, 2013.

TODAY Highlights

· TODAY tied for #1 in the key demo A25-54 rating for the second straight week
· TODAY narrowed the demo gap for 6th straight week
· TODAY has closed the demo gap with GMA by 76% (172k viewers) over past six weeks
· TODAY has best demo viewer delivery since the week of 5/6/2013

· Year over year, TODAY grew +21% in total viewers, more than any other morning program. GMA grew 6% and CBS was flat.
· TODAY posted its best total viewer delivery since the week of 5/20/2013

· TODAY has been the #1 morning program in A18-49 rating for 21 consecutive seasons

TODAY II and III Highlights (9 a.m. and 10 a.m. hours)

· TODAY IIdelivered 3.328 million total viewers and a 0.9 A25-54 rating, growing +10% (+291,000) among total viewers week-to-week, and +1 tenth among A25-54
· This was TODAY II's best total viewer delivery since the week of April 15, 2013, and best A25-54 delivery since the week of July 1, 2013

· TODAY II topped:
· The View in total viewers by +8% (+249,000), +1 tenth in rating A25-54 (+121,000), and +1 tenth among W25-54, A/W18-49
· The Talk by +21% (+579,000) and +2 tenths among A25-54, and A/W18-49
· The Chew by +21% (+583,000) and by +1 tenth among the key demos
· CBS This Morning by +16% (+454,000) in total viewers, +4 tenths among rating Women 18-49, +3 tenths among W25-54, +2 tenths among A18-49, and +1 tenth among A25-54

· For the season, TODAY II topped The View by +5% (+161,000) among total viewers and +1 tenth among A25-54

TODAY III

· TODAY III delivered 2.289 million total viewers and a 0.7 A25-54 rating, growing +10% (+207,000) among total viewers week-to-week, and +1 tenth among A25-54
· TODAY III had its best total viewer delivery since the week of January 21, 2013, and best A25-54 delivery and A18-49 rating since the week of December 31, 2012
· Rebroadcasts of TODAY III averaged an additional 606,000 total viewers

· TODAY IIItopped:
· CBS This Morning by +2 tenths among Women 18-49, and +1 tenth among W25-54 and A18-49
· The Talk by +1 tenth among A18-49
· Tied The View and The Chew among A18-49
