NBC's TODAY continues to gain momentum posting across-the-board ratings growth. For the week of January 5, TODAY closed the total viewer gap with GMA by double digits in triple measures: versus the same week last year (by 38%), versus the same two weeks of 1Q'14 last year (by 49%), and season-to-date (by 16%). TODAY also narrowed the gap with GMA in the key demo A25-54 by 31%, versus the same two weeks of 1Q'14 last year.
Versus the prior week, TODAY delivered double-digit growth in total viewers (+20%), A18-49 viewers (+34%), and A25-54 viewers (+29). TODAY posted gains in total viewers (+4%) and key demo A25-54 viewers (+2%) versus the 4Q'14 levels. TODAY remains the #1 morning news program in A18-49 for the season.
