NBC's THE VOICE is #1 for Monday Night by +58% Margin

"The Voice" (3.8/11 in 18-49, 14.3 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) ranks as the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 by a +58% margin in adults 18-49 (3.8 vs. 2.4 for #2 "The Bachelor") and by 4.8 million viewers overall (14.3 million vs. 9.5 million for "Mike & Molly"). "The Voice" is the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 in all key measures.

"The Voice" delivered its most-watched episode on any night of the week since Tuesday, March 4, 2014 (14.533 million).

In total viewers, "The Voice" is up versus last week's season premiere by 2% (14.280 million vs. 13.968 million). It's the first time since THE FALL of 2012 that "The Voice" has grown from week 1 to week 2 with its Monday edition.

Last night's "The Voice" was up substantially versus where the series was running at the end of THE FALL cycle -- up +15% versus THE FALL finale in 18-49 (3.8 vs. 3.3 on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014) and up +11% total viewers (14.280 million vs. 12.880 million). Versus the show's Monday average in December, last night's "Voice" is up +41% in 18-49 (3.8 vs. 2.7) and up +25% in total viewers (14.280 million vs. 11.397 million).

"The Night Shift" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) retained 93% of last week's season-premiere rating in 18-49 (1.4 vs. 1.5) and grew +15% in total viewers (6.338 million vs. 5.523 million).

"The Night Shift" won the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adult 18-49 and virtually all other key demos.

"The Night Shift" will grow significantly in L+7, having increased by +40% last summer going from L+SD to L+7 in 18-49 (from a 1.36 rating to a 1.90) and more than 1.9 million viewers overall (from 6.6 million to 8.5 million).

NBC won the night among the Big 4 in all key measures - adult, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.2/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.8/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.3/7; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.6/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.7/5 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


For the Week:

· NBC has finished within 0.1 of a rating point of #1 for the primetime week of Feb. 23-March 1, averaging a 1.6 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 6.4 million viewers overall, according to "live plus same day" viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.


· The Monday and Tuesday premieres of "The Voice" accounted for two of the week's top four primetime telecasts on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, as well as total viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-34. "The Voice" delivered two the week's top three ratings in women 18-49 and women 25-54.


· For the 2014-15 season to date, NBC ranks #1 or tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and all other key demographics.


· In total viewers, NBC is #2 for the season, and running within 9% of its year-ago Olympics-boosted average (9.4 million vs. 10.3 million), making this season and last NBC's two top-scoring seasons in total viewers at this point since the 2006-07 season. This is the second year in a row NBC has ranked #2 in total viewers at this point in the season, marking first two times since 2003-04 that NBC has ranked as high as #2 in total viewers at this point.
