From 8-9:01 p.m. ET, "The Voice" (4.2/13 in 18-49, 13.0 million viewers overall) grew versus its prior telecast that faced an original "NCIS" by 2 percent (to a 4.2 from a 4.1 on March 26 in official nationals; also up by 8 percent vs. that night's 3.9 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings).
Note that both prior Tuesday editions of "The Voice" to date have grown by 0.2 of a point going from these fast-affiliate results to official nationals. In total viewers, last night's "Voice" is up 4 percent versus the March 26 telecast that faced original "NCIS" competition (12.952 million vs. 12.407 million). Last night's "Voice" is up 20 percent versus the year-ago Tuesday telecast (with a 4.2 rating vs. a 3.5 from 9-10 p.m. on April 10, 2012). In total viewers, "The Voice" is up 44 percent versus the same night last year (12.952 million vs. 8.999 million).
"The Voice" delivered the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in adults 18-49, winning head to head by 62 percent versus "NCIS," which tied for the #2 telecast on those networks with "NCIS: LA" (4.2 vs. 2.6).
From its first half-hour to its second, "The Voice" grew by 0.8 of a point or 21 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 4.6 from a 3.8) and by 13 percent or more than 1.6 million persons in total viewers (13.8 million vs. 12.1 million).
In total viewers, "The Voice" out-delivered ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" for a second night in a row (with 13.0 million at 8 p.m. vs. "Dancing's" 11.8 million at 9).
From 9-11 p.m. ET, the debut of "Ready for Love" (1.6/4 in 18-49, 3.8 million in total viewers) earned NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period since January 15 (excludes the night of the State of the Union Address). In the time period, "Ready for Love" tied for #2 among ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in adults 18-34 and was #2 outright among those networks in women 18-34.
For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Ready for Love" is #1 among ABC,CBS and
NBC in adults 18-34 (with a 1.0 rating) and women 18-34 (1.5).

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with
Jay Leno," 2.4/6; CBS's "Late Show with
David Letterman," 2.9/8; and ABC's "
Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.3/6.
In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: "The Tonight Show with
Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.7/4; and "
Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/4.
From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with
Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with
Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with
Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
