NBC took the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in 18-49, winning six of six half-hours with the #1, 2 and 3 shows of the night on the Big 4, as:
"Chicago Fire" (2.3/7 at 10:01) grew by 10% week to week to its top rating since Oct. 15.
"The Voice" (3.3/9 at 9) jumped 10% week to week to its highest rating since Nov. 12.
"The Biggest Loser" (2.0/6 at 8) maintained last week's rating, its highest since Nov. 5.
"The Biggest Loser" (2.0/6 in 18-49, 6.7 viewers overall from 8-9 p.m.) matched last week's 18-49 rating, the show's highest since Nov. 5, and grew 2% in total viewers (6.719 million vs. 6.614 million) to deliver the show's biggest overall audience since that same Nov. 5 telecast. Last night's "Biggest Loser" grew or held steady from half-hour to half-hour in every key measure, including a gain of 16% in adults 18-49 (to a 2.2 rating from a 1.9).
"The Biggest Loser" won its time period among ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all key adult-female demos.
"The Voice" (3.3/9 in 18-49, 11.9 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) is the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and other key measures and is #1 among those nets in the time period in every key category. Half-hour to half-hour, "The Voice" grew in every key measure.
Week to week, "The Voice" is up 10% in 18-49 rating (to a 3.3 from a 3.0), to its highest Tuesday result since Nov. 12, and up 15% in total viewers (11.890 million vs. 10.345 million), to its top Tuesday total-viewer result since Oct. 22.
"Chicago Fire" (2.3/7 in 18-49, 8.2 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) earned its highest 18-49 rating since Oct. 15 and biggest overall audience since Oct. 1. In the time slot, "Chicago Fire" is #1 among ABC,
CBS and
NBC in adults 18-49 and every other key demographic.
"Chicago Fire" generated week-to-week gains in 18-49 for a second week in a row, up versus one week ago by 10% (with a 2.3 rating vs. a 2.1) and up versus two weeks ago by 21% (2.3 vs. 1.9). In total viewers, "Chicago Fire" is up week to week by 19% or 1.3 million persons (8.245 million vs. 6.909 million)..
For the night,
NBC is #1 among the Big 4 in every key demo (including a tie for #1 with
FOX in men 18-34).
NBC dominated those networks in adults 18-49 with a nightlong margin of 86% (2.6 vs. a 1.4 for #2 CBS).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:
In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.5/7 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.2/6 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/6.
In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.
From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's first-run "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).
At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
For the Week:
NBC has finished #1 in adults 18-49 for the
Primetime week of Nov. 25-Dec. 2, with a lineup that included five of the week's top eight
Primetime telecasts on ABC, NBC,
CBS and
FOX in the key 18-49 demo.
NBC's 2.9 rating for the week in 18-49 is the highest for any network in five weeks, since
FOX ran four
World Series games during the week of Oct. 21-27.
NBC has now finished #1 or tied for #1 during nine of ten weeks this season, finishing #2 only once during a week in which
FOX carried
World Series coverage on four of seven nights.

NBC has won its second consecutive November sweep in adults 18-49, marking the first time in 10 years, since 2002 and 2003, that
NBC has won two November sweeps in a row.
NBC also ranks #1 for the sweep among ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in adults 18-34, adults 25-54, men 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 and women 18-34 and 18-49.
With all 28 nights counted in the November sweep,
NBC topped sweep runner-up
CBS by 0.4 of a point or 18%, the biggest percentage advantage for any network in a November sweep since
NBC won by 19% in 2002. In ratings points, the 0.4 margin equals the biggest for any network in a November sweep in four years (since
FOX won by 0.5 in 2009).
NBC's total-viewer average of 8.2 million is the network's top result for a November sweep in six years (since averaging 8.5 million in 2007, L+SD). Versus last year,
NBC is up 5% in total viewers versus November 2012.
