NBC's THE VOICE Is #1 for the Night in 18-49; 'PENTATONIX' Special Hits High  Image

NBC is currently #1 for the night among the Big 4 networks in every key demographic.
THE VOICE (1.9/7 in 18-49, 9.7 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) ranks as the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and total viewers, currently topping ABC's 10 p.m. drama "The Good Doctor" in both measures, pending updates. Is currently up +12% week to week in 18-49 (1.9 vs. 1.7) and +7% in total viewers (9.745 million vs. 9.148 million). Is currently delivering the show's most-watched Monday telecast since Oct. 23 (10.095 million). Currently ranks #1 in the two-hour time period among the Big 4 networks in every key measure, pending updates. Is currently delivering a +58% margin of victory in the timeslot among the Big 4 over ABC's "CMA" Christmas special in adults 18-49 (1.9 vs. 1.2). Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - Monday's "The Voice" is growing by +27% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 2.29 to a 2.91) and +2.2 million viewers overall (10.3 million to 12.5 million). When projected non-linear viewing is included, the L+7 18-49 rating increases to a 3.30.

"A Very Pentatonix Christmas" (1.2/5 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET): Is currently generating NBC's top results in this timeslot since Sept. 25 (1.3 in 18-49, 5.957 million viewers overall), pending updates. Versus last season's time-period averages, is currently up +9% in 18-49 (1.2 vs 1.1, L+SD) and up +18% in total viewers (5.788 million vs. 4.917 million). Ranks #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC ahead of CBS' "Scorpion" in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, adults 18-34, men 25-54 (tie) and all key adult-female demos. Is currently topping "Scorpion" in adults 18-49 by a +33% margin (1.2 vs. 0.9), pending updates. Last year's first Pentatonix NBC special in 18-49 averaged a 1.4 in 18-49 and 7.491 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.3/6; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.1/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3 with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/5 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.3/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/1 with an encore.

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
