NBC's THE VOICE Grows +6% in Total Viewers to 5-Week High

"THE VOICE" (1.9/7 in 18-49, 10.1 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET): Is close to rounding up to a 2.0 in 18-49 (currently reporting a 1.946 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings). Grows +6% week to week in total viewers (10.056 million vs. last week's 9.519 in official nationals) and Hits a five-week high in total viewers (best since April 18, 10.074 million).

In 18-49, is currently retaining 95% of last week's 2.0 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings and 90% of last week's 2.1 in official nationals on a night of competition from the NBA Playoffs on ESPN and the series premiere of ABC's "Bachelorette."

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - so far this season, Monday's "Voice" has grown by +24% going from L+SD to L+7 in 18-49 rating (from a 2.91 to a 3.62) and 2.1 million viewers overall (11.7 million to 13.8 million).

Upscale: Monday's "Voice" has delivered a solidly upscale audience, indexing at a 119 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current," including L+3). The prior week's Monday's telecast was the #2 most upscale program on the Big 4 that night, indexing at a 113 among adults 18-49 living in $100K+ homes, behind only the 123 of "Blindspot."

"Blindspot" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET): Jumps +14% week to week in total viewers (6.030 million vs. 5.269 million). Delivers a 10-week high in total viewers (most-watched episode since March 14, 6.2 million).

In 18-49, maintains +100% week to week (1.3 vs. 1.3) and has now delivered a 1.3 for a fourth straight week, despite last night facing competition from ABC's season premiere of "Bachelorette" and NBA Playoffs on ESPN.

Grows week to week in men and women 18-49, men 18-34 and adults, men and women 25-54

Will grow dramatically via time-shifting and VOD viewership:

L+3: Last week's "Blindspot" grew by +73% going from L+SD to L+3 ratings in 18-49 (1.25 to 2.16) and by 3.0 million viewers overall (5.3 million to 8.3 million).

The May 16 "Blindspot" delivered Monday's biggest L+3 lifts in 18-49 and total viewers.

Last week's +73% gain was the biggest L+SD-to-L+3 lift for any Big 4 Monday telecast in six months (since ABC's "Castle" grew +73% on Nov. 9, 2015).

L+7: "Blindspot" has increased by +81% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 1.95 to a 3.52) and 4.9 million viewers overall (7.2 million to 12.1 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

Upscale: "Blindspot" is generating a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 125 among adults 18-49 living in home with $100K+ incomes ("most current," including L+3). Monday's telecast was the night's most upscale show on the Big 4, indexing at a 123 among adults 18-49 living in $100K+ homes (L+SD)

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.8/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NOTE: Monday primetime results are based on "fast affiliate time period" data from Nielsen Media Research. All ratings are "live plus same day" unless otherwise indicated. Season-to-date ratings are "most current" - "live plus seven day" except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."
