NBC's THE VOICE Dominates Time Slot in 18-49 by +67%

NBC wins Tuesday among the Big 4 in every key demographic, sweeping six of six half-hours in adults 18-49, led by the #1 show of the night in all key demos, "The Voice."

"The Voice" (3.0/10 in 18-49, 12.4 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) is the #1 telecast of the night on the Big 4 networks in every key demographic (including a tie in men 18-34). Wins the slot by a +67% margin among the Big 4 nets in adults 18-49 (3.0 vs. 1.8 for CBS's dramas) and beats the #2-3 networks combined among the Big 4 (3.0 vs. 1.8 for CBS and 0.8 for Fox).

Scores a five-month time-period high in 18-49 (NBC's best rating in the Tuesday 8-10 p.m. time period since Sept. 29, 2015, 3.7), as well as in total viewers (13.6 million).

Grows +3% versus the show's fall finale in 18-49 (3.0 vs. 2.9 from 9-11 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015), facing last night Super Tuesday Presidential primary coverage.

Retains 86% of the Tuesday debut of its prior cycle (3.0 vs. 3.5 on Sept. 22, 2015) and is currently showing growth versus its prior Tuesday premiere in total viewers (12.356 vs. 12.348 million) and wins the time period among the Big 4 in adults 18-49 and all other key demos.

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - season to date, Monday's "Voice" has grown by +24% in 18-49 rating (from a 2.91 to a 3.62) and 2.1 million viewers overall (11.8 million to 13.9 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

Upscale: Tuesday's "Voice" has delivered a solidly upscale audience, indexing at a 117 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current," including L+3).

The NBC NEWS SPECIAL "Decision 2016: Super Tuesday" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 5.7 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) wins the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key measure.

Is currently topping the combined ABC-CBS competition in adults 18-49 (1.5 vs. 0.8 for CBS and 0.6 for ABC) and is matching the combined competition in adults 25-54 (1.9 vs. 1.1 for CBS and 0.8 for ABC).

Note that NBC stations in Louisville and Raleigh carried college basketball.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night:

Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers were the #1-2 late-night shows in 18-49 in the 25 Nielsen markets with local people meters.

In adult 18-49 rating in the local people meters, Fallon (0.9) topped the combined results of CBS's "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" (0.4) and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (0.4).

In 18-49 in the local people meters, Meyers (0.5) beat both Colbert (0.4) and Kimmel (0.4), despite Meyers' later start time.

In 18-49, Carson Daly (0.3) tied Corden (0.3) and "Nightline" (0.3), despite starting an hour later.

Fallon's guests Tuesday night included Margot Robbie, Michael McKean and Kevin Delaney.

Meyers' guests Tuesday included Jennifer Lopez, Morris Chestnut and Joel Grey.

Daly's guests Tuesday night included Lucy Fry, Thomas Morton and musical guest Quilt.

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.5/6; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.8/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
