NBC has finished #2 among the Big 4 networks for the ratings week of June 5-11 in primetime's key demographic of adults 18-49, as well total viewers and every other key measure, paced by the #1 and #2 entertainment shows of the week in both 18-49 and total viewers, "America's Got Talent" and "World of Dance."
According to "live plus same day" viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research, for a second week in a row, Tuesday's "Talent" and "World" beat all other non-sports primetime telecasts on cable and broadcast in 18-49 and total viewers.
"Talent" and "World" teamed with
NBC Sports' coverage of Stanley Cup Final hockey to account for five of the week's top 10 primetime shows on the Big 4 networks in 18-49, excluding sports pre-game shows. Also ranking among the week's top programs in 18-49 were Wednesday's "Little Big Shots" (tied for #13), Friday's "Talent" encore (tied for #21), Friday's "Dateline NBC" (tied for #21) and Wednesday's "Carmichael Show" (tied for #26).
In total viewers, the week's three most-watched Big 4 primetime shows, excluding news and sports, were "Talent," "World of Dance" and "Little Big Shots."
Season to date,
NBC ranks #1 in adults 18-49, with an +11% margin over #2
FOX despite that network's boosts from the
SUPER BOWL and last fall's seven-game Cubs-Indians World Series.
NBC also ranks #1 or tied for #1 for the season among ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in adults, men and women 25-54; men and women 18-49; and women 18-34. In total viewers,
NBC ranks #2 is up +0.2% this season versus last (7.987 million vs. 7.969 million)
Counting only entertainment programs season to date (excluding live news and sports),
NBC ranks #1 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49.
