NBC Sports coverage of last night's Chicago Bears-San Francisco 49ers "Sunday Night Football" telecast, averaged a 14.0 rating, 23 share from 8:30-11:45 in household results from the 56 markets metered by Nielsen Media Research, despite the 49ers' 17-0 lead over the Bears late in the second quarter, to easily win the night in primetime.
The 14.0/23 is up +3% versus week two of "Sunday Night Football" last year (13.6/24 for 49ers-Seahawks).
The debut game in San Francisco's Levi's Stadium posted a 27.0 rating, 51 share in households in the San Francisco-Oakland market, the 49ers' best rating in their home market in 11 years (since a 27.2/42 for Steelers-49ers on ABC, Nov. 17, 2003).
