NBC Sports' coverage of last night's Denver Broncos-New England Patriots game averaged a 17.0 rating, 28 share in metered-market households from 8:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. ET, the #1
Primetime rating of the night on ABC, CBS,
NBC and Fox.
The 17.0 rating in metered-market households is the highest score for a November NFL
Primetime game in 17 years, since Monday Nov. 25, 1996 (ABC, Pittsburgh-Miami). It's a 26% increase over last season's Week 12 "SNF" game (13.5 for Green Bay-New York Giants).
Top local markets were: Denver, 48.2 rating, 71 share; Boston, 37.3/59; Providence, 30.2/46; Albuquerque, 24.5/36; and Indianapolis, 24.2/40.
