The November 5 telecast of "Saturday Night Live" has delivered the show's highest adult 18-49 rating since last May and biggest overall viewership since early October, according to "live plus same day" in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

With a telecast hosted by Charlie Day and featuring musical guest Maroon 5, "Saturday Night Live" averaged a 2.5 rating, 9 share in adults 18-49 and 6.6 million viewers overall.

The 2.5 rating is a season high for "SNL," ranking as the show's strongest result in the key 18-49 demographic since the "SNL" season finale on May 21, 2011 (with host Justin Timberlake and musical guest Lady Gaga). The 6.6 million viewers is "SNL's" biggest overall audience since October 1 (with host Melissa McCarthy and musical guest Lady Antebellum).

The 2.5 rating in adults 18-49 for the November 5 edition of "Saturday Night Live" beat every Saturday non-sports primetime telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox since January 16, 2010.
