Week to week, “Rock Center” is up 33 percent in 18-49 (to a 1.2 vs. a 0.9) and 58 percent or 1.9 million persons in total viewers (5.236 million vs. 3.320 million) and versus two weeks ago, “Rock Center” is up 50 percent in 18-49 (1.2 vs. 0.8). Compared with NBC’s total-viewer average in the time period last summer, last night’s “Rock Center” is up 33 percent in 18-49 (1.2 vs. 0.9, L+SD non-sports) and 103 percent in total viewers (5.236 million vs. 2.579 million). In the time period, last night’s “Rock Center” is tied for #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in 18-49 and 25-54, within a tenth of a rating point of #1 in both measures, and #2 outright in total viewers. · “Rock Center” grew from its first half-hour to its second by 30 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating from a 1.0), 21 percent in adults 25-54 (1.7 vs. 1.4) and 16 percent in total viewers (5.6 million vs. 4.8 million) to rank #1 from 10:30-11 p.m. ET among ABC, CBS and NBC in 18-49, 25-54 and total viewers.
· In the 10:30 lead-in to local news, “Rock Center” delivered a 13 percent margin of victory among ABC, CBS and NBC in the key news demo of adults 25-54 (with a 1.7 rating vs. a 1.5 for both ABC and CBS).
