NBC's OLYMPIC PREVIEW SPECIAL Hits 5-Week Time-Period Highs

NBC Sports' "Olympic Preview Special" (1.1/5 in 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET): Tied for the time-period win among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, as well as adults, men and women 18-34.

Scored five-week highs in the time period for NBC in 18-49 and total viewers (best since Olympics Trials coverage on June 30 (1.2 In 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall).

Maintained or increased its rating from half-hour to half-hour in every key demographic, including gains of +10% in adults 18-49 (1.0 to 1.1), +7% in adults 25-54 (1.4 to 1.5) and +13% in women 25-54 (1.5 to 1.7).

An encore telecast of "American Ninja Warrior" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET): Ranked #2 in the time period among the Big 4 in adults 18-49 and tied for #1 in men 18-49 and men 25-54.

For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., ranked #1 in adults 18-49 and was #1 or tied for #1 in every key category.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.3/6; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.9/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.6/4.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
