"American Ninja Warrior" grew by +21% from its first half-hour to its fourth in adult 18-49 rating (1.4 to 1.7).
"American Ninja Warrior" will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - the prior week's "American Ninja Warrior" grew by +15% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+3 Nielsens (from a 2.13 rating to a 2.44) and by 763,000 viewers overall (from 7.3 million to 8.1 million).
"Running Wild with Bear Grylls" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) finished within 0.1 of the time-period lead among ABC,
CBS and
NBC in adults 18-49, tied for #1 in adults 25-54 and ranked #1 outright among those nets in all key adult-male demos, with an episode featuring NFL star Drew Brees that aired against ABC's special "Bachelor in Paradise" Reunion.
"Running Wild with Bear Grylls" will add significant viewership via time-shifting - the previous week's "Running Wild" increased by +20% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+3 Nielsens (from a 1.21 rating to a 1.45) and by 554,000 viewers overall (from 3.3 million to 3.9 million).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:
In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.0/5 with an encore telecast; "CBS Summer Showcase," 1.9/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.4/4 with an encore.
In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4 with an encore; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.3/2 with an encore.
From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore) trailed CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 with an encore in metered-market households and a 0.2/1 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
