NBC's MYSTERIES OF LAURA Captures Season High in Total Viewers

"The Mysteries of Laura" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 7.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET), despite last week's preemption, grows +5% versus its prior telecast in in total viewers (7.374 million vs. 6.998 million on Nov. 4), pending updates.

Captures a season high in total viewers and delivers its most-watched episode since Feb. 25 (7.6 million with a telecast featuring guest star Eric McCormack of "Will & Grace").

· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting and VOD -- "Laura" has increased by +40% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.11 to a 1.55) and 1.8 million viewers overall (7.0 million to 8.8 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

· Upscale: "Laura" is delivering a solidly upscale audience, indexing at a 110 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes.


"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET):
· Builds on its lead-in by +27% in 18-49.

· Finishes within 0.1 of a point of its prior three telecasts that did not benefit from a "Voice" lead-in (1.5 on Oct. 14, Oct. 21 and Nov. 4).

· Finishes within 0.1 of a point of last night's "Criminal Minds" in adults 18-49 (1.4 vs. 1.5).
· Outrates "Criminal Minds" in adults 18-34 (0.9 vs. 0.8) and women 18-34 (1.1 vs. 1.0) and ties the CBS competition in men 18-49 and 18-34.

· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD -- Last week's "SVU" grew by +55% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+3 Nielsens (1.97 to 3.06) and by 2.6 million viewers overall (from 7.8 million to 10.4 million). The 18-49 rating of 3.06 and lift of 1.09 are "SVU's" biggest since April 29.
· Is generating strong numbers this fall. Heading into this week, "SVU":

· Is up +4% versus one year ago in 18-49 in 18-49 (2.6 vs. 2.5, "most current") - and that's despite much tougher competition this fall from Fox, with "Empire" this fall versus "Red Band Society" last fall.

· Is matching its top rating at this point in the season in four years (since 2012, 2.8).

"Chicago P.D." (1.4/5 in 18-49, 6.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):

· Wins the slot among the ABC-CBS-NBC dramas in adults 18-49 and all other key demos (including a tie in women 18-34).

· Has now finished #1 or tied for #1 in 18-49 versus the time period's regular ABC and CBS drama competition with its last 24 regular-slot originals, dating back to November 2014.

· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting and VOD -- Last week's "Chicago P.D." grew by +60% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+3 Nielsens (1.60 to 2.56, its highest L+3 rating in the past year, since Nov. 12, 2014) and by 3.0 million viewers overall (from 6.8 million to 9.8 million). The 18-49 gain of 0.96 is "Chicago P.D.'s" largest since Jan. 14.

· Is generating strong numbers this fall. Heading into this week, "Chicago P.D." is up +5% versus last season in 18-49 (2.3 vs. 2.2).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night:
· Jimmy Fallon (1.1) beat the combined ratings of Colbert (0.4) and Kimmel (0.5) in adults 18-49 in the local people meters.

· Seth Meyers (0.6) beat Kimmel and Colbert in 18-49 in the local people meters, despite starting an hour later.

· Carson Daly (0.4) tied Colbert, despite starting two hours later, and doubled "Late Late Show" (0.2), despite starting an hour later.

· Fallon's guests Wednesday night included Jennifer Lawrence, Michael B. Jordan and musical guest Jeff Lynne's ELO.

· Meyers' guests Wednesday included Liam Hemsworth, John MULANEY and musical guest MUTEMATH.

· Daly's guests Wednesday night included Todd Haynes and David Rees with musical guest Quilt.

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.0/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.


· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/6; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.


· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
