NBC's MEET THE PRESS is #1 with Biggest Audience in Four Months

"Meet the Press with Chuck Todd" was the most-watched Sunday public affairs program on July 26, marking is biggest total viewer win over the FACE THE NATION half hour since Todd's debut show (9/7/14). The NBC broadcast also delivered its biggest total viewer audience and widest advantage over ABC's This Week in four months (since 3/29/15).

In the A25-54 demo, Meet the Press posted its seventh straight win over the FACE THE NATION half hour and cut the gap with This Week by 79% versus the prior week.

Meet the Press averaged 2.883 million total viewers, topping the CBS half hour by 112,000, ABC by 231,000, and the CBS full hour by 483,000. Among A25-54, MTP drew 824,000 viewers, topping the CBS half hour by 152,000 and full hour by 240,000.

Week-to -week, MTP grew by +14% in total viewers and +19% in the demo. Compared to the same week last year, MTP was up +22% in total viewers and +9% in the demo.

MTP was a dominant #1 in the influential Washington, DC market among both total viewers and the demo and delivered its biggest total viewer audience in DC in over two months (since 5/10/15).

MTP delivered an additional 995,000 total viewers and 371,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts on the NBC network and on MSNBC.
