NBC News' "MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD" (MTP) was the most-watched Sunday show on Nov. 8 in the 25-54 demographic for the second consecutive week, delivering 1.057 million viewers: +91,000 more than CBS' "Face the Nation" half-hour and +161,000 more than ABC's "This Week."
The win marks MTP's biggest lead over
ABC in the demo since this past August and the 19th win over
CBS in the demo out of the past 21 head-to-head broadcasts.
Only 86,000 viewers separated MTP from CBS, despite
CBS rating for only 30 minutes of its hour-long program - marking the second straight week in which MTP has come within 100,000 viewers of
CBS for a total viewer win.
MTP continues its strong momentum, posting double-digit gains in total viewers (+36%) and in the demo (+55%) compared to the same time last year.
The show also continues its #1 dominance in the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming the competition in total viewers combined.
MTP delivered an additional 1.296 million total viewers and 362,000 25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts on the
NBC network and on MSNBC.
