NBC's MEET THE PRESS won the key A25-54 demo for Sunday, March 20, marking its fourth #1 consecutive win with a delivery of 1.143 million viewers.
Outperforming the competition by double-digits this past Sunday - +16 percent more than CBS' "Face the Nation" half-hour and +23 percent more than ABC's "This Week" - MTP is the #1 Sunday show in the key demo season-to-date.
With 3.829 million viewers, the show topped
ABC for the 12th straight week in total viewers. Despite rating for 15 minutes more than CBS' half-hour program, MTP came within just one percent of being the most-watched Sunday show: only 25,000 viewers separated the two programs.
MTP showed double-digit growth year-over-year in both total viewers and the key demo: +30 percent and +41 percent, respectively.
The network broadcast also continued its dominance in the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming the competition combined both in total viewers and in the key A25-54 demo.
With rebroadcasts on the
NBC network and on MSNBC, an additional 2.134 million total viewers and 663,000 A25-54 viewers watched MTP.
