NBC's MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD won the key demo this past Sunday, dominating with 957,000 A25-54 viewers: +92,000 more viewers than CBS and +75,000 more viewers than ABC.
This marks the network broadcast's fifteenth straight win over
CBS and fourteenth consecutive win over ABC, solidifying MTP as leader in the key demo season-to-date.
Only one percent of viewers separated MTP from
CBS in total viewers, despite rating almost 20 minutes more than
CBS (which continues to rate for only the first 30 minutes of its hour-long program).
With double-digit gains since this time last year - +33 percent in total viewers and +38 percent in key demo viewers - MTP continues its strong momentum. The show also continues its more-than-one-year streak as the most-watched Sunday show in the influential Washington, D.C. market, leading competition by double and triple-digits.
An additional 1.446 million total viewers and 473,000 A25-54 demo viewers watched MTP with rebroadcasts on
NBC and on MSNBC.
PROGRAMMING NOTE: This Sunday, July 17th, "Meet the Press with Chuck Todd" will preview the Republican National Convention with a special edition from Cleveland, airing at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT on
NBC following final round coverage of the 145th Open from
NBC Sports Group.
