NBC's MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD was #1 in the key demo for the 11thstraight week, delivering 1.070 million viewers this past Sunday.
According to Nielsen data, MTP topped CBS' "Face the Nation" by nine percent (+89,000) and
ABC by +22 percent (+194,000) in the demo. The network broadcast also grew +28 percent with A25-54 viewers compared to the same Sunday last year. MTP continues to hold its #1 place in the demo season-to-date.
With 3.726 million total viewers, MTP led
ABC by +18 percent (+575,000) - the largest win over
ABC in five weeks. MTP also grew five percent in total viewers week-over-week and +17 percent year-over-year. Only seven and a half percent (-304,000) of viewers separated MTP from CBS, which only rates for 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast.
MTP continued its dominance in the influential Washington D.C. market, outperforming the combined deliveries of
CBS and
ABC in total viewers. MTP has now won every Sunday in the market for 78 consecutive broadcasts (since March 22, 2015) and has won 30 straight broadcasts in the key demo.
An additional 730,000 viewers and 220,000 demo viewers watched MTP through rebroadcasts on MSNBC.
