"Meet the Press with Chuck Todd"(MTP) continued its lead over ABC's "This Week" in total viewers for Sunday, Aug. 2, averaging 2.801 million viewers - +48,000 more viewers than ABC. In the A25-54 demo, MTP delivered its eighth straight win over the CBS's "Face the Nation" (FTN) half-hour with +107,000 more viewers.

FTN is rated only by 30 minutes, despite airing as a full contiguous hour in more than three-fourths of the country. "This Week" was rated for just 35 minutes of its hour-long broadcast on Aug. 2.

MTP's ratings momentum delivered double-digit growth across the board year-over-year: +32% in total viewers, +39% in the A25-54 demo; +44% in the A18-49 demo.

MTP continues its dominance in the influential Washington, D.C. market, leading competition in total viewers.

MTP delivered an additional 975,000 total viewers and 435,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts on the NBC network and on MSNBC.
