"Chicago P.D." (1.9/6 in 18-49, 8.7 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) captures its top 18-49 and total-viewer results since Nov. 12, 2014 (2.2 in 18-49, 9.5 million viewers overall).
· Jumps +36% versus its prior original seven weeks ago in 18-49 (1.9 vs. 1.4 on Nov. 18).
· In total viewers, delivers its second-most-watched episode ever, behind only the 9.580 million on Nov. 12, 2014).
· With the third part of a three-way crossover between "Chicago Fire," "Med" and "P.D," wins the slot among ABC,
CBS and
NBC in adults 18-49 and all other key measures.
· Has now finished #1 or tied for #1 in 18-49 versus the time period's regular
ABC and
CBS drama competition with last 25 regular-slot originals, dating back to November 2014.
· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting and VOD -- "Chicago P.D." has grown by +71% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.49 to a 2.55) and 3.4 million viewers overall (6.4 million to 9.8 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 7.8 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET):
· Locks up its highest rating, excluding a Nov. 11 telecast (2.0 in 18-49) which benefited from a "Voice" lead-in, since premiere week (1.8 on Sept. 23) in 18-49.
· Excluding that "Voice"-boosted Nov. 11 telecast, "SVU" matched its highest-rated regular-slot telecast since Nov. 12, 2014 (2.0).
· Grows +29% versus its prior original seven week ago (1.8 vs. 1.4).
· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD -- "Law & Order: SVU" has grown by +71% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.64 to a 2.81) and 3.0 million viewers overall (7.0 million to 10.0 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
"The Mysteries of Laura" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET):
· With its first original telecast since Nov. 18, retained 100% of its prior telecast in in 18-49 (1.1 vs. 1.1).
· Finished within 0.1 of its season high, a 1.2.
· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting and VOD -- "The Mysteries of Laura" has increased by +39% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 1.12 to a 1.56) and 1.8 million viewers overall (7.0 million to 8.8 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· Upscale: "Laura" is delivering a solidly upscale audience, indexing at a 111 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.1/8; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.1/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/6; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
