NBC's AMERICA'S GOT TALENT is Tuesday's #1 Show Among Big 4

NBC swept Tuesday night among the Big 4 networks, winning in all key categories.

"America's Got Talent" (2.2/8 in 18-49, 10.7 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) ranks as the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in every key measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

"America's Got Talent" is currently up +10% versus the same night last year in 18-49 (2.2 vs. 2.0 from 9-11 p.m. on Aug. 19, 2014) and up +13% versus its year-ago average in total viewers (10.689 million vs. 9.481 million) and is very close to rounding up to a 2.3 in 18-49 (currently reporting a 2.24 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings).

"America's Got Talent" is currently retaining 94% of last week's 11.425 million viewers, which made the Aug. 11 "Talent" the most-watched primetime telecast on the Big 4 networks, excluding sports, in three months (since ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" on May 19, 13.5 million).

Heading into last night, "America's Got Talent" was up +7% summer to date versus one year ago in 18-49 (3.0 vs. 2.8, "most current") and up +8% in total viewers (12.5 million vs. 11.6 million).
"America's Got Talent" will grow substantially via time-shifting -- "Talent" has grown by +30% in 18-49 rating (from a 2.39 to a 3.11) and more than 2.1 million viewers overall (10.7 million to 12.8 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

"Hollywood Game Night" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) won the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key demographic. "HGN" won the 10 p.m. hour among ABC, CBS and NBC by an +86% margin in adults 18-49 (1.3 vs. 0.7 for ABC and CBS)

"Hollywood Game Night" is currently running within 0.1 of last week's 1.4 rating in 18-49, the show's best since July 14, and is extremely close to rounding up to a 1.4 (currently reporting a 1.347 in these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings). In total viewers, "Hollywood Game Night" is currently retaining 97% of last week's 5.002 million, "HGN's" best since its July 7 season premiere (5.184 million).

"Hollywood Game Night" is the night's #2 show on the Big 4 in every key demographic, behind only NBC's "Talent."

"Hollywood Game Night" will grow significantly via time-shifting -- "HGN" is increasing by +20% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.33 to a 1.60) and 661,000 viewers overall (4.8 million to 5.5 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7; "CBS Summer Showcase," 1.8/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.1/1).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 with an encore in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
