NBC has won the primetime week of June 22-28 in adults 18-49, led by "America's Got Talent," the week's #1 primetime telecast on the Big 4 networks in 18-49, total viewers and other key measures. According to "live plus same day" viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research, NBC averaged a 1.1 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 4.5 million viewers overall for the week.
Joining "America's Got Talent" among the week's top 20 primetime shows on the Big 4 nets were Monday's "American Ninja Warrior" (#7), Tuesday's "I Can Do That" (tied for #10), Wednesday's "Talent" and "Ninja" encores and Thursday's "Dateline NBC" (all tied for #12), Friday's "Dateline" (tied for #17) and Monday's "The Island" (tied for #20).
In addition to ranking #1 for the week among Big 4 primetime shows in adults 18-49, "America's Got Talent" ranked #1 in total viewers, kids 2-11, teens 12-17, adults 18-34 (tie), women 18-49 and adults, men and women 25-54.
NBC also ranked #1 or tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox for the week in adults, men and women 25-54; men and women 18-49; adults and men 18-34; and teens 12-17. NBC matched its year-ago week in adults 18-49 and was up +15% versus the same week last year in adults 25-54 (1.5 vs. 1.3) and +4% in total viewers (4.5 million vs. 4.4 million).
For the 52-week 2014-15 season to date, NBC ranks #1 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and is #1 or tied for #1 among those nets in men 18-49 and adults and men 18-34.
In total viewers, NBC is #2 for the season, and running within 7% of its year-ago Olympics-boosted average (8.2 million vs. 8.8 million), making this season and last NBC's two top-scoring seasons in total viewers at this point since the 2006-07 season. This is the second year in a row NBC has ranked #2 in total viewers at this point in the season, marking first two times since 2003-04 that NBC has ranked as high as #2 in total viewers at this point.
Primetime averages for the week of June 22-28 in adults 18-49 are: NBC, 1.1/4; ABC, 1.0/4; CBS, 0.9/4; Fox, 0.9/3; and CW, 0.2/1. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: CBS, 5.4 million; NBC, 4.5 million; ABC, 3.9 million; Fox, 2.8 million; and CW, 0.8 million.
"Most current" averages for the 52-week 2014-15 season to date are: NBC, 2.3/7; ABC, 2.2/7; CBS, 2.1/7; Fox, 1.8/6; and CW, 0.8/3. In overall total viewers, the season averages are: CBS, 10.5 million; NBC, 8.2 million; ABC, 7.8 million; Fox, 5.6 million; and CW, 2.0 million.

Monday
"American Ninja Warrior" (1.8/7 in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET), tied as the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 in adults 25-54 and was the #1 telecast among those nets in all key adult-male demos. "American Ninja Warrior" grew +6% versus the same night last year (1.8 vs. 1.7 on June 23, 2014) and +17% in total viewers (6.0 million vs. 5.2 million). "American Ninja Warrior" is up +16% versus one year ago summer to date in 18-49 (2.2 vs. 1.9, "most current") and up +32% or 1.7 million persons in total viewers (7.1 million vs. 5.4 million).
"Live Plus Three Day" Ratings: "American Ninja Warrior" grew by +12% in 18-49 rating going from "live plus same day" to "live plus three day" Nielsens (from a 1.85 rating to a 2.08) and by 597,000 viewers overall (from 6.0 million to 6.6 million).
"Live Plus Seven Day" Ratings: "American Ninja Warrior" has grown by +17% in 18-49 rating going from "live plus same day" to "live plus seven day" ratings (from a 1.95 to a 2.26) and 896,000 viewers overall (6.6 million to 7.5 million).
"The Island" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) tied for #1 for the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and was #1 outright among those networks in adults, men and women 18-34 and men 18-49. L+3: "The Island" increased by +23% in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 (0.99 to 1.22). In total viewers, "The Island" grew by 568,000 persons (from 3.2 million to 3.8 million). L+7: "The Island" has increased by +20% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.13 to a 1.36) and 679,000 viewers overall (3.7 million to 4.4 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

Tuesday
NBC won the night among the Big 4 networks in every key measure, with "Talent" and "I Can Do That" the #1-2 shows of the night among those nets in every key demo.
"America's Got Talent" (2.6/10 in 18-49, 11.075 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) dominated the night with the highest 18-49 and total-viewer results in the four prior weeks for any non-sports telecast on any Big 4 network, since the "Talent" season premiere on May 26 (2.6/9 in 18-49, 11.093 million viewers overall). The 2.6 rating in 18-49 equals the #1 non-sports primetime result on any Big 4 networks in the five weeks since the "Voice" finale" earned a 2.9 on Tuesday, May 19. "Talent" grew +13% versus the prior week's 2.3 rating in adults 18-49 and was up +9% in total viewers (11.075 million vs 10.183 million). "Talent" was the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in all key measures. L+3: "America's Got Talent" grew by +22% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+3 Nielsens (from a 2.59 rating to a 3.16) and by more than 1.6 million viewers overall (from 11.1 million to 12.7 million). L+7: Originals of Tuesday's "America's Got Talent" have grown by +34% in 18-49 rating (from a 2.45 to a 3.28) and 2.5 million viewers overall (10.8 million to 13.3 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
"I Can Do That" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) grew +8% versus the prior week in adult 18-49 rating (1.4 vs. 1.3) and +12% in total viewers (4.9 million vs. 4.4 million) and finished as the #2 show of the night in every key demographic, behind only "America's Got Talent." "I Can Do That" won the 10-11 p.m. hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key demos, leading among ABC, CBS and NBC by a +40% margin in adults 18-49 (1.4 vs. 1.0 for CBS's second-place "48 Hours" encore). L+3: "I Can Do That" grew by +13% in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 (1.4126 to 1.59). In total viewers, "I Can Do That" increased by 556,000 persons (from 4.9 million to 5.5 million). L+7: "I Can Do That" is increasing by an average +20% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.61 to a 1.93) and 887,000 viewers overall (5.8 million to 6.6 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
Wednesday
NBC's Wednesday rebroadcasts tied for the nightlong win among the Big 4 in adults 18-49 and are #1 outright among those nets in adults 18-34 and all key adult-male demos.
An encore / recap episode of "America's Got Talent" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 5.9 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) scored NBC's top 18-49 rating in the hour, excluding sports, since an April 8 "Voice" (2.2) and the network's top total-viewer result in the slot since May 20. The "America's Got Talent" encore / recap is the #2 show of the night on the Big 4 in total viewers and tied for #2 in adults 18-34 and men 25-54.
A rebroadcast of "American Ninja Warrior" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) won the time period among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and ranked #1 or tied for #1 among those nets in all other key demographics. For the night, the "American Ninja Warrior" encore ranks #2 on the Big 4 in men 18-34 and tied for #2 in men 25-54. The "American Ninja Warrior" rebroadcast maintained its 18-49 rating week to week (1.3 vs. 1.3 for an encore in this same slot) and in total viewers increased +8% versus one week earlier (4.3 million vs. 4.0 million) and by +25% versus two weeks earlier (4.3 million vs. 3.4 million). Upscale: The prior week's "Ninja" encore in this slot delivered the most-educated audience of the night on the Big 4, indexing at 125 among adults 18-49 with four or more years of college (100 represents an average concentration in that demo).
Thursday
"Dateline NBC" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) ranked #1 for the night on the Big 4 networks in total viewers with the most-watched "Dateline" edition on any night of the week in six months (since Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, 7.3 million). It's also a season high for a Thursday "Dateline" in total viewers and matches the show's Thursday season high in in adults 18-49.
"Dateline NBC" generated NBC's best total-viewer result in the time period in six months, since "Peter Pan Live!" (Dec. 4, 2014, 2.7 in 18-49, 11.2 million viewers overall in the 8-9 p.m. hour) and tied NBC's slot high since "Peter Pan" in adult 18-49 rating. "Dateline NBC" tied for the #2 rating of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49. L+3: The previous week's "Dateline" increased by +15% going from L+SD to L+3 (1.29 to 1.48), and by 607,000 persons in total viewers (6.3 million to 6.9 million). L+7: Thursday's "Dateline" is growing by an average of +21% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.06 to a 1.28) and 750,000 viewers overall (5.7 million to 6.5 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

"Hannibal" (0.4/1 in 18-49, 1.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) retained 86% of the previous week's total-viewer result (1.5 million vs. 1.7 million) and finished within 0.1 of the prior week in 18-49, versus last night's season premieres of both CBS's "Under the Dome" and ABC's "Rookie Blue." Despite the 10 p.m. hour, "Hannibal" maintained its rating half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 (0.4 vs. 0.4), adults 25-54 (0.6 vs. 0.6) and nearly all other key demos.L+3: The prior week's "Hannibal" increased by +42% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (0.52 to 0.74) and by 473,000 persons in total viewers (1.7 million to 2.2 million). Friday
An encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (0.9/4 in 18-49, 3.9 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) increased +29% week to week in adults 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.7 for a June 19 encore in this same slot). The "Talent" encore grew +24% in total viewers week to week (3.9 million vs. 3.1 million).
"Dateline NBC" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) equaled the show's highest 18-49 rating for a Friday telecast since April 3 (1.2). "Dateline" grew +57% week to week in adults 18-49 (1.1 vs. 0.7), +36% in adults 25-54 (1.5 vs. 1.1) and +36% or 1.3 million persons in total viewers (4.915 million vs. 3.624 million). In the time period, "Dateline" tied for #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49and adults 25-54. L+3: The prior week's "Dateline" grew by +28% going from L+SD to L+3 (0.75 to 0.96) and by 661,000 persons in total viewers (3.6 million to 4.3 million). L+7: Friday's "Dateline" is increasing by an average of +25% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.17 to a 1.46) and 950,000 viewers overall (5.9 million to 6.9 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

NBC won the night in adults 18-49 among the Big 4 networks with the #1 primetime show of the night, a rebroadcast of "American Ninja Warrior" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 2.3 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET), which also ranked #1 for the night in adults, men and women 18-34 and other key demos.
An encore telecast of "The Island" (0.3/2 in 18-49, 1.2 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) tied for #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-34.
Sunday
"Dateline NBC" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall from 7-8 p.m. ET) jumped +50% or 1.5 million persons week to week in total viewers (4.648 million vs. 3.107 million) to report the show's most-watched Sunday edition since May 31 (6.2 million from 7-9 p.m.). "Dateline" was also up +17% week to week in adults 18-49 (0.7 vs. 0.6) and +38% in adults 25-54 (1.1 vs. 0.8).
"Dateline NBC: My Kid Would Never Do That" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) grew +14% week to week in adults 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.7) and +14% in total viewers (3.8 million vs. 3.3 million).
An encore telecast of "I Can Do That" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 2.3 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) tied for #2 among the Big 4 in the time period in adults 18-49.
The finale of "American Odyssey" (0.4/1 in 18-49, 2.2 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) equaled the prior week's rating in adults 18-49 (0.4 vs. 0.4) and grew in men 18-34.
