NBC's AMERICA'S GOT TALENT Wins its Timeslot with 10.13 Million Viewers

NBC RATINGS NOTES FOR WEDNESDAY, JULY 23

Against mostly original competition, NBC handily wins the night against the Big 4 networks in the 18-49 demo (1.9/7) and total viewers (8.63 million). It also wins in all other key demos.

From 8-10 p.m., "America's Got Talent" wins its timeslot with a 2.3/8 in the demo and 10.13 million viewers.

The two-hour "America's Got Talent" increases in each half-hour in the demo (1.9, 2.3, 2.4, 2.7) and total viewers (starting at 8.74 million and ending at 11.28 million).

"America's Got Talent" more than doubles Fox's two-hour "So You Think You Can Dance" (1.1/4, 3.75 million) in the demo and triples it in total viewers.

In the 9-10 p.m. hour, "America's Got Talent" (2.5/8, 10.95 million viewers) dominates CBS' "Extant" (1.1/4, 6.42 million).

From 10-11 p.m., "Taxi Brooklyn" (1.1/4, 5.6 million) wins its timeslot.

"Taxi Brooklyn" increases 0.3 from last week's episode (0.8/3) in the demo and see an uptick of 800,000 viewers (4.8 million to 5.6 million).

"Taxi Brooklyn's" 1.1 18-49 demo rating and 5.6 million total viewers are both series highs.
