"America's Got Talent" (1.8/6 in 18-49, 8.9 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) won its two-hour time period among the Big 4 in every key demo - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. "Talent" led the time period among the Big 4 by a +38% margin in adults 18-49 (with a 1.8 rating vs. a 1.3 for #2 CBS) and by a +63% advantage in adults 18-34 (1.3 vs. 0.8 for CBS).
"America's Got Talent" ranked as the #1 show of the night on ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in adults 18-49, as well as adults 25-54, adults 18-34 and other key demos.
"Food Fighters" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) matched a four-week high in 18-49 rating (best since a 1.2 on Aug. 5) and was even with last week's 1.1 rating.
In the time period, "Food Fighters" tied for #2 among ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in adults 18-49, tied for #1 among the Big 4 in adults 18-34 and ranked #1 outright among those nets in women 18-34.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night:
In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.9/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/5.
In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/6; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.
From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).
At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC has won the
PRIMETIME week of Aug. 25-31 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, total viewers and virtually all other key measures, led by "The 66th
PRIMETIME Emmy® Awards," which ranked #1 among the week's
PRIMETIME telecasts on the Big 4 networks in every key ratings category - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.
NBC's win marks the 11th time this summer the network has finished #1 or tied for #1 among ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in18-49 rating, making
NBC the only Big 4 network to have won more than three weeks since the close of the traditional season (L+SD). At this point last summer,
NBC had finished #1 or tied for #1 six times versus five each for
ABC and Fox. For the week,
NBC averaged a 1.3 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 5.8 million viewers overall, according to "live plus same day" viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.
NBC's 1.3 for the week is the highest rating for any Big 4 network in four weeks, since
NBC earned a 1.4 the week of July 28-Aug. 3. NBC's 5.8 million viewers overall makes this the network's most-watched week in four months, since averaging 6.1 million viewers for the week of April 28-May 4.
Versus the same week last year,
NBC is up +30%in adult 18-49 rating (to a 1.3 from a 1.0) and up +43% in total viewers (5.8 million vs. 4.1 million).

PRIMETIME programs in 18-49 were Tuesday's edition of "America's Got Talent" (#3), Wednesday's "Talent" (#8), Tuesday's "Food Fighters" (tied for #15), Wednesday's "Talent" encore (tied for #18) and Friday's "Dateline NBC" (tied for #27).
The "Emmy" telecast and Tuesday and Wednesday editions of "Talent" accounted for the #1, 2 and 3 Big 4
