NBC has finished #1 for the primetime ratings week of July 4-10 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, total viewers and every other key measure, with 18-49 victories among those nets on six of the week's seven nights, according to "live plus same day" figures from Nielsen Media Research.

NBC's dominant week was led by the #1 primetime show on ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX in 18-49 and total viewers, "America's Got Talent," which was joined in the adult 18-49 top 20 last week by three "U.S. Olympic Trials" telecasts, plus the "Macy's 4thof July" special, "The Night Shift," "Maya & Marty," and a "Talent" encore.

During the week, NBC ranked #1 among the Big 4 in 18-49 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, marking the first time the network has led six of seven night in a week since Sept. 7-13, 2015.

In 18-49, NBC matched a 17-week high (with a 1.4, equaling its best since a 1.6 for the week of March 7-13). In total viewers, NBC hit a 14-week high (with 5.9 million, best since 6.0 million for the week of March 28-April 3).

NBC finished #1 for the week among the Big 4 in every key measure and grew versus the same week last year in all key categories.

NBC delivered 5 of the week's top 10 primetime programs on the Big 4 in 18-49 and 8 of the top 20.

"America's Got Talent" was the week's #1 primetime entertainment program on the Big 4 networks in every key ratings measure. Rankings among those shows in adults 18-49 were: Tuesday's "Talent," #1; Sunday's Women's Gymnastics "Olympic Trials," #2; Wednesday's "Talent" recap encore, #5; Monday's "Macy's 4thof July Fireworks Spectacular," tied for #7; Friday's Women's Gymnastics "Olympic Trials," tied for #10; Sunday's Track & Field "Olympic Trials," tied for #13; Wednesday's "Night Shift," tied for #15; and Tuesday's "Maya & Marty," tied for #17.

Excluding ABC weeks during the NBA Playoffs, NBC has outrated every Big 4 network every week so far this summer in adults 18-49.

Season to date, NBC is running within 0.1 of a rating point of Super Bowl-boosted CBS in the race for #1 among adults 18-49 and is tied for #1 in women 18-49 and men 18-34.

NBC's total-viewer average of 7.759 million is the network's highest at this point in a season without a SUPER BOWL or Olympic boost since 2006-07 (8.357 million).

Primetime averages for the week of July 4-10 in adults 18-49 are: NBC, 1.4 rating, 6 share; CBS, 0.8/3; ABC, 0.8/3; Fox, 0.5/2; and CW, 0.2/1. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: NBC, 5.9 million; CBS, 4.5 million; ABC, 3.8 million; Fox, 1.9 million; and CW, 0.8 million.
