NBC's AMERICA'S GOT TALENT Grows +4% Week-to-Week in 18-49

NBC wins Tuesday night among the Big 4 in all key categories led by the #1-2 shows of the night in every key demographic, "America's Got Talent" and "U.S. Olympic Trials: Swimming."

"America's Got Talent" (2.4/9 in 18-49, 11.0 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET): Ranks as the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49, total viewers and every other key category. Grows +4% week to week in 18-49 (2.4 vs. 2.3 from 8-10 p.m. on June 21).

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - the prior week's "Talent" increased by +28% in 18-49 (2.33 to 2.99) and 2.1 million viewers overall (11.7 million to 13.9 million) going from L+SD to L+3, generating the biggest lift of the night in total viewers on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox.

"U.S. Olympic Trials: Swimming" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET): Is the #2 show of the night on the Big 4 in every key demographic - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 - behind only "America's Got Talent." Wins the 8-9 p.m. slot among those nets in every key demographic.

Is up +8% versus the prior night's swimming coverage in 18-49 (1.3 vs. 1.2 from 8-9 p.m. on Monday, June 27) and +12% in total viewers (5.782 million vs. 5.170 million).

Marks the second straight night of growth for coverage of the Swimming U.S. Olympic Trials - increasing versus Sunday's 8-9 p.m. telecast by +30% in 18-49 (1.3 vs. 1.0) and +29% in total viewers (5.782 million vs. 4.467 million).

Grows from half-hour to half-hour in every key measure, including gains of +8% in adults 18-49 (1.2 to 1.3), +13% in adults 25-54 (1.6 to 1.8) and +11% in women 25-54 (1.8 to 2.0).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7 with an encore telecast; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.8/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/4.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.8/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2 with an encore).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
