A rebroadcast of "American Ninja Warrior" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 3.9 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) won the time period among the Big 4 networks in every key demo. From its first half-hour to its fourth, the "Ninja" encore grew by +40% in adult 18-49 rating (1.0 to 1.4) and +19% in total viewers (3.5 million to 4.1 million).
The "American Ninja Warrior" rebroadcast ranked #2 for the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49 behind only Fox's original "MasterChef," and also finished #2 in adults 18-34 and adults 25-54 and tied for the #1 show in all key adult-male demos - men 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. The "Ninja" encore was #1 outright on the Big 4 for the night in kids 2-11.
The "American Ninja Warrior" rebroadcast grew +20% week to week in adult 18-49 rating (1.2 vs. 1.0) and +14% in total viewers (3.929 million vs. 3.436 million).
An encore telecast of "I Can Do That" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 2.8 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) increased week to week by +33% or 0.2 of a point in adults 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.6) and by +16% in total viewers (2.833 million vs. 2.444 million).
In the time period, the "I Can Do That" rebroadcast tied for #2 among the Big 4 networks in women 18-49 and adults 18-34 and was #2 outright among those nets in women 18-34, behind only Fox's first-run "MasterChef."
In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night:
In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; "CBS Summer Showcase," 1.9/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.
In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/4.
From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households) tied CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
