NBC has promoted two key executives from its NBC.com team as Josie Ventura has been promoted to Vice President, Primetime Production, NBC.com, while Robert Angelo becomes Vice President, Late Night, Daytime & Mobile, NBC.com. The announcements were made by Stephen Andrade, Senior Vice President and General Manager, NBC.com, to whom both report.

"Josie and Robert both have made valuable and key contributions in their respective roles to enhance the stature and reach of NBC.com," said Andrade. "These well-deserved promotions recognize their innovative work over the past years and will put each of them in a better position to further shape the future of the website."

Ventura will continue to directly lead and manage all aspects of primetime production for NBC.com, including websites and 360-degree initiatives for series including "The Office," "30 Rock," "Community," "Minute to Win It," "Heroes," "Parenthood," "The Celebrity Apprentice," "Chuck," "Who Do You Think You Are?" and "The Biggest Loser." She also will be in charge of the management of Live Operations, which handles the front-end development of the websites.

Over the past 10 years, Ventura has built and trained the award-winning Primetime team at NBC.com. She also created and executed the current NBC.com strategy for ShopNBC.

Ventura's other roles at NBC include Producer/Senior Producer (2001-05), Director (2005-08) and Senior Director (2008-2010). During this time, she launched and managed websites for such series as "Friends," "Will & Grace," "ER," "Providence," "Crossing Jordan," "Fear Factor," "The Weakest Link," "The Apprentice," "Las Vegas," "Ed" and "American Dreams." Ventura joined NBC through NBCi in 2001. She was a key leader in taking NBC.com from a marketing site to the true online entertainment platform that it is today.

Ventura is a graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Bachelor of Science degree in communication; she also had minor studies in political science and Spanish while there. She currently resides in Sherman Oaks, Calif., with her husband Raul, and her daughter, Chloe.

Angelo most recently served as Director of Late Night, Daytime & Mobile for NBC.com, a position he held since 2005. During his tenure he expanded NBC's presence on smart phones and mobile platforms to include sites for every show and transitioned online streaming of video into the mobile space -- thereby increasing NBC.com mobile traffic dramatically. His pioneering work to merge management of web and mobile ad inventory brought industry recognition. He is currently expanding NBC's content into the "10-Foot Experience" as well as developing new mobile applications.

In his role managing Late Night and Daytime production for NBC.com, Angelo spearheaded new content development relationships and extended the properties into the digital space with innovative features and entertaining content. Under his leadership, embedded digital producers partnered with the shows to create daily original online content such as "SNL Backstage," "The Tonight Show's" "Backstage with Bryan," and "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" microsites. Angelo produces weekly segments of "Jay Leno's Garage" (JayLenosGarage.com), opening the doors of the garage to fans with test drives of new cars, interviews with auto industry movers and shakers and coverage of auto events around the world. Angelo was part of the Emmy Award-winning "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Digital Experience," and was twice personally nominated for an Emmy Award for his work on "Jay Leno's Garage."

Angelo started his career at Quokka Sports developing websites and digital content for the Sydney and Salt Lake City Olympic Games. Angelo later transitioned to the Disney Interactive Group, and worked on the international gaming and learning platform "DisneyBlast" before joining NBC.com.

A California native, Angelo earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Academy of Art in San Francisco. He currently resides in Sherman Oaks, Calif., with his wife and son.
