NBCUniversal Sells DATELINE to FOX TV Stations for Second Season of Syndication  Image

NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution has sold DATELINE to FOX Television Stations for its second season in national syndication, it was announced by Sean O'Boyle, Executive Vice President of Syndication Sales, NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution. Delivering a 1.4 household rating in the November 2017 sweep, "Dateline" is the highest-rated new one-hour Syndicated strip to premiere in the last five seasons. "Dateline" has improved both primetime and early fringe time periods by 10% for stations in November 2017 compared to a year ago.

The Syndicated version of "Dateline" is currently airing on FOX Television Stations as well as leading station groups across the country including Sinclair, Meredith, Nexstar, Graham Media, Tribune, COX Media Group, Tegna, Scripps, Sunbeam and more.

"'Dateline' is the preeminent crime franchise in all of television and it has proven itself to be a valuable program in broadcast syndication," said O'Boyle. "We are excited to continue this success into season two with our partners at FOX Television Stations where 'Dateline' is a versatile show that compliments their programming scheules in various dayparts."

"Dateline" is produced for Syndication by NBC News' Peacock Productions with Andy Cashman serving as executive producer. David Corvo is the senior executive producer and Liz Cole is the executive producer for "Dateline NBC."
