NBCUniversal today announced the promotion of Jean Dietze to President, NBC Affiliate Relations. Dietze will continue to lead all aspects of NBC affiliate relations, including affiliation renewals and clearances. She also will continue to serve as NBC's chief liaison to the affiliate body. She will continue to report to Ted Harbert, Chairman NBC Broadcasting.
NBCUniversal also announced two promotions that further strengthen the Affiliate Relations team. Rhonda Brockmann has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Affiliate Relations Business and Legal Affairs and Scot Chastain has been elevated to Executive Vice President, Affiliate Marketing and Development. Brockmann continues to report to Dietze while Chastain continues to report to Harbert.

Dietze has spent her entire professional career at NBC. Previously, Dietze was Executive Vice President, Affiliate Relations from 2011 and prior to that Senior Vice President, Affiliate Relations beginning in 2009. From 1992 to 2009, she served as Vice President of Affiliate Relations. She first joined the company as a member of the TV Network sales division, and subsequently held roles of increasing responsibility, including several positions in the Station Clearance and Analysis departments. Dietze is a graduate of Fordham University and is based in New York City.
Brockmann has spent more than 20 years in a variety of business and legal affairs roles for television and sports, including negotiations and business development. Prior to joining
NBC Affiliate Relations, Brockmann was Senior Vice President, Operations and Business Development for
CBS Affiliate Relations. Previously, she was Vice President of
NBC Entertainment, responsible for negotiating development and production arrangements for
NBC and
NBC Studios. Brockmann started in the industry at Time Warner Sports, managing business and legal affairs and international sports rights acquisitions and licensing. Brockmann has B.A. and Juris Doctorate Cum Laude degrees from St. Louis University and is based in New York City.
Chastain has been Senior Vice President, Affiliate Marketing and Development,
NBC Television Network since 2008. In this role, Chastain oversees the bi-coastal
NBC Affiliate Marketing groups that develop and distribute all network marketing, sales and advertising materials for affiliate and owned television stations. He also serves as Executive Producer of NBC's key client presentations plus major affiliate business and marketing meetings. Prior to joining
NBC Entertainment in 1995, Chastain spent more than 10 years at local stations, most recently as Director of Marketing and Promotions at WDSU-TV, the
NBC affiliate in New Orleans. Chastain earned his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and is based in Universal City, CA. He currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of PromaxBDA.
