NBCUniversal today appointed Tom Winiarski to the newly created role of Executive Vice President, Advertising Sales Planning & Monetization. Winiarski has strategic oversight of sales planning and inventory management of the company's vast portfolio, including two broadcast networks, 17 cable networks and more than 50 digital properties. Utilizing NBCUniversal's unique suite of reporting tools, he is charged with maximizing revenue and serving clients' needs through informed, data-driven decisions and strategic inventory analytics. Winiarski reports to Linda Yaccarino, Chairman, Advertising Sales and Client Partnerships, NBCUniversal.

Winiarski has more than 20 years of advertising sales and sales strategy experience. He has held multiple roles at Turner Broadcasting, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, National Sales Manager, TBS and TNT, Turner Cross Divisional Partnerships. In this role, Winiarski was responsible for the development of advertising sales strategy and client communication. Throughout the course of his Turner career, he worked closely with revenue and inventory management, pricing, and sales research for the Turner Entertainment division, as well as spearheading strategic, cross-portfolio marketing partnerships for advertisers, working closely with Time Warner Global Marketing.
He began his career at Katz Communications, and has also worked at A&E Networks.
Winiarski earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcasting and mass communication from the State University of New York College at Oswego, and resides in Westchester, New York with his wife and three children.
