NBCUniversal Names Chris Czarkowski to SVP of Hispanic Group Ad Sales

NBCUniversal today announced Chris Czarkowski has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Hispanic Group Advertising Sales, NBC UNIVERSO. He will report to Mike Rosen, Executive Vice President, Advertising Sales, News and Hispanic Groups, NBCUniversal.

In this newly created role, Czarkowski will lead the sales efforts of the recently launched NBC UNIVERSO as it becomes the premier cable destination for modern U.S. Hispanics. Additionally, he will lead the sales strategies for major event and tentpole programming across the Hispanic Group and the full NBCUniversal portfolio.

"With our growing live programming slate, including sports franchises like the 2016 Rio Olympics, FIFA World Cup, The NASCAR Mexico Series, Premier League matches, WWE RAW and Smackdown en Español, Chris' experience will prove valuable as we create innovative marketing opportunities around our most popular tentpole events," said Rosen.

Previously, Czarkowski served as Vice President, Entertainment Advertising Sales Group, where he was oversaw cross-platform and branded entertainment opportunities for NBC, USA and Syfy. In this position, he led national sales efforts for Syfy's "Defiance" and popular "Sharknado" franchise, as well as live events including the IHEARTRADIO MUSIC AWARDS on NBC.

Czarkowski has more than 20 years of experience in television advertising sales. Prior to joining NBCUniversal in 2008, he served in a variety of sales roles at Discovery Communications (1992-1997, 2002-2008), Turner Broadcasting (1999-2002) and Europsport (1997-1999).

Czarkowski earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Fordham University.
